Mike Lehman

In the fall of 1992, early in his Navy career, Mike Lehman arrived in Washington state for the first time to study for his professional nuclear engineer exam in Bremerton. During the shuttle ride from SEA-TAC airport, the striking beauty of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area made such a strong positive impact on Mike that Washington soon became his home state. Over the next 25 years, Mike served on five different ships stationed in Puget Sound, including tours as Commanding Officer of the destroyer USS SHOUP (DDG 86) in Everett and Reactor Officer on the aircraft carrier USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) in Bremerton. After separating from the Navy, Mike worked in Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Omaha and Puget Sound markets and developed a passion for serving great food and providing exceptional customer service. Mike is married to Lynn, a Seattle area native and graduate of the University of Washington. After finishing his final active-duty assignment in Nebraska, Mike and Lynn brought their sons back home to Washington to open the fourth Chick-fil-A restaurant in Puget Sound. He is honored to serve the generous people of Puyallup and the surrounding communities.
